Axis For iPhone Home Screen

The second largest Internet Search Engine Yahoo has launched a new mobile browser and a search tool called “Yahoo Axis” Launched as an application for iPhone and iPad, Followed by Plugins for Desktops. This new browser comes with a range of new browsing features and is offering same browsing features as a plug-in for the major desktop Web browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari  including HTML-5 graphic capabilities. For Now Users can download the new Yahoo Axis from Apple’s App Store (US) which is not available in India at present. Yahoo Plans to roll out the app to android platform soon.

The Yahoo Team said on They Official Blog that. “Axis is the first time the search experience evolves from a destination to a companion. It’s the first search experience to provide visually rich page previews of results instantly as you type. It’s the first mobile browser that connects with any major desktop browser. Axis is the first browser to really change the game,” The Yahoo Axis also supports search for images and also has useful features like Pinterest integration and sharing to make using tabs even easier.  Yahoo Axis is like all other search engine tools but with some tweaks, when you enter a search keyword in the search box, while typing you will get suggested search queries dropping down like the Google search but with filmstrip-like view across the the top of screen, featuring large thumbnails of search result pages, sounds great right? Yahoo has launched Axis just days after Microsoft announced revamping its Bing search results, and Google’s new search feature called “Knowledge Graph” which provides more data snippets alongside its query results than the regular search engine currently provides.
