Google has had many ups and downs, from the hit Google Search to fallen Orkut. Google team has now discontinued a set of unnecessary services including Google Listen. Google Listen was an Android application which allowed users to search and listen to podcasts with a simple and responsive user interface. The main reason why google stopped this was because of many upcoming talented designers offering some superb apps with amazing features in the Google Play Store, making Google Listen no longer relevant in the Playstore. Google Listen was one from the top unused podcast apps and could possibly be the reason behind its elimination. Google has decided to focus on more necessary departments and get more attention.

Existing Google Listen users can still use it but the Search feature will go blind from 1st November. Thus this proves that even Third Party developers perform better than the top players in the market. Whats the Best alternative you would recommend? Let us know just leave a comment Below.
