VLC For Android To Hit Google Play Store Soon (Beta)

VideoLan Developers this week have announced about its Android version which will rolled out in the Google Play store within the next couple of days. Like the desktop version the VLC for Android will play All Files in All Formats of Video and Audio, it will have Media libraries with spotlight search, multi audio support, multi core decoding for Cortex A7, A9 and A15 chipsets.


The Android version will be fully compatible with OS versions starting from 2.1 Eclair up to 4.0 ICS. Developers at VideoLAN are is currently seeking beta testers, and interested users can be a part on their forums. There are many other unofficial similar VLC Based media players in the Google PlayStore. The Official VLC player is ready to be made public and will be probably as powerful as its desktop version.
